The Myzone System in the XIT room is made up of numerous parts.
- Dell Computer
- Black Box USB Extender
- Black Box USB Receiver
- Myzone Receiver
- HDMI Splitter
- Monitor on the Server Rack
- TV's hung in the room
Here is the layout of the technology in the room.
As you can see there are many connections to get the screens to work. Below is the steps to fix the Red Error on the top of the Screen.
When you see the red error on the top right that means the computer is not connected to the myzone receiver. Check out the pictures below to reset the USB Extender.
What is Circled is the USB Extender. This connects the computer with the myzone receiver.
Check the Lights: Are the lights on? If yes lets reset the connections. If no lights, that means it is not plugged in. We need to see all lights for Myzone to work. 1 Blue, 2 Green and 1 Orange.
On the side with the lights is the USB cable. Unplug and wait 10 seconds and then plug it in. On the other side is the network cable and the power cord. Do the same, unplug the network and power wait 10 seconds and plug the power and network back in.
After resetting the USB Extender (BlackBox) check Myzone, did the receiver error message disappear?
