If you are frequently unable to login or told your account is locked out please read below.
Email and computer logins will be disabled per policy for 31 minutes after 9 invalid login attempts from ANY DEVICE OR APP.
This means that if you type your password incorrectly 9 times in a row your account will be unable to be used for 31 minutes and then it will automatically allow you to try again.
It also means that if you change your password or have someone in IT change your password for you, you will need to update ALL LOCATIONS where that password is saved. That could be (but is not limited to):
Default EMail App on Phone
Outlook EMail App on Phone
Other third party EMail Apps on Phone
Stored credentials for Outlook On the Web (OWA) on your computer
Stored credentials for Outlook on your computer
Stored credentials for shared drives on your computer
Stored credentials in / for Cisco Jabber
Stored credentials in / for Cisco Webex Tools
Stored credentials for the Call Center
If you do not change your password in ALL Stored locations or remove saved credentials you will just get locked out again.
To check if you have saved credentials on your computer go to:
Control Panel
Credentials Manager
Windows Credentials and look for any saved Windows Credentials
To check your iPhone Default Mail app for incorrect password go to:
Settings
Password & Accounts
Find your XSport Account
Tap on your email address
Type your new password
Tap Done
