Call forwarding your phone remotely
There are two ways to do this. From Jabber and from the Self-Care Portal.
From Jabber will only work if you what is called “Desk Phone Control” Not all users have this. Self-Care portal will work for everyone and is the ONLY option for customer service agents specifically.
From Jabber, on the bottom left select the picture of the phone
Select Forwards to calls to new number:
Enter the number in the format 8 + 1 + area code + number (816305563731 for example) and select forward
If you do not have desk phone control of jabber or need to forward an extension other than your primary extension (for example customer service agents). Please use the Self-Care Portal. The self-care portal is available via a web browser. Navigate to:
https://phone.xsportfitness.com
And choose “Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal” :
Log in with your email username and password
From the home screen choose call forwarding on the left:
Choose the extension you’d like to forward (such as your customer service agent extension)
Check the box, click the drop down and choose to forward calls to a new number:
Enter the number in the format 8 + 1 + area code + number (for example 816305563731)
And Choose save. You should see a green box at the top of the page:
Close your browser.
